How does it work?
Artfolio provides you, the artist with an online record of your art. There is virtually no limit to the number of images you can store in our database, enabling you to build up a complete archive of all your works. After storing all your existing work, you can add each new work as it is completed creating a complete record of all your work online, which you can use to showcase your work easily, to friends, family and those wishing to purchase Artworks. By simply sending the website link for your profile to someone they can instantly see all your work. Visitors to the Artfolio website can browse though listed artworks by media type, region or artists name.
I want to display my art on Artfolio, what do I do?
First of all, complete the simple registration which includes email verification. You can then create your own profile, where you can outline who you are, your preferred mediums and influences.
Next photograph your artworks and upload them to the Artfolio website by following the simple 3 step process. Upload the image, complete the details of name, medium, size and price (if sold or POA put that in the price box) and then submit it to the website. It’s as easy as that. Visitors browsing the website can contact you directly if they wish to purchase an artwork, eliminating the middleman. We do not charge any sales fees or take any commission on sales.
How much does it cost?
Nothing it’s free for the foreseeable future! Our aim is for Artfolio to grow across New Zealand and be used by the thousands of talented people who have not had a forum to display their works. There are amazing people producing truly unique artwork who can’t afford to advertise or place their work in galleries who can charge huge commissions.
